1. Testarossas suck in the winter for heat (RIP DDing one in WI which is my dream)
2. Harry tries to block off the radiators like it’s a damn ‘86 Cavalier with a bad thermostat
3. It works pretty well as a truck
4. It gets decent MPG. 20-21 while cruising, and about a 400 mile range. NotBadObama.jpg

No heat? Would DD anyway.

If I can DD a ‘66 GMC with no air and a ‘73 Honda moto during the summer in Phoenix, you can DD a Testarossa during a Wisconsin winter.

How about the 2dr rav4 parked beside the testarossa. Now that a neat car.

Heat doesn’t make extremities go numb. I helped flat tow a car about 20 miles when it was in the single digits one night, even wrapped in blankets and wearing many layers it became unbearable after 15-20 minutes (we had to drive slow and took turns freezing to near death).
When you’re at risk for frostbite you tend to never want to experience it again.

“Heat doesn’t make extremeties go numb”
Sure it does. That’s how you know you’re about to pass out. I’ve come across a few hikers who couldn’t feel their hands/face/feet.
Sounds like you need to invest in some winter clothes. I have gear that has kept me toasty for hours in single digit temps. Using blankets to try and keep warm in extreme cold is not a good idea.

Insulated boots with insulated socks. Do you really live in WI and not know how to keep warm in extreme cold? I also had to use foot warmers when hiking through snow in some single digit temps.

Dude it was like 15 years ago and spur of the moment. If I had PLANNED on the car not starting in the middle of nowhere TODAY I would dress better.
Its not like I spend a lot of time outdoors in the cold on purpose. I’m not a caveman.

I can relate to cars without optimal cabin heating abilities. My C4's ability to keep the cabin warm and toasty only extend down to about 20 degrees outside, beyond which is starts to leave a bit to be desired. It works fine as a DD in Central and Southern NM, but I would not willingly choose to use it as a DD in place that actually has a real winter. In a place like that, I suppose one could always wear a coat while driving, but you’d also have to consider the availability of tires suitable for frozen precipitation in 285/40/17 and the wisdom of trusting other folks to not end you or your 23 year old fiberglass sports car.
